Responsibilities

• Teach Sociology across KS3, KS4, and KS5, engaging students in discussions on society, culture, and human behaviour


• Support students in developing research skills, critical analysis, and sociological perspectives


• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Sociology coursework and examinations


• Work collaboratively to enhance the Sociology curriculum with contemporary issues and case studies


• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as debate teams and student-led social justice initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, or a related subject


• PGCE or QTS


• Experience teaching Sociology up to KS5
