Join our latest projectAutomotive Software Controls Engineer - 12 Month Contract - Outside IR35 - West Midlands - Remote Working.Are you looking for an exciting brand new project to work on? I am currently looking for an experienced software engineer to join my client for an Initial 12 month contract, outside IR35.We are looking for people to carry out the following:- Specify SW requirements, functionality detailed design, and tests in Confluence for the electric vehicle features or attributes.- Design and develop vehicle dynamics control algorithms using Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow as per MAB and MISRA guidelines- Test SW components and compositions using MIL and SIL- Generate and analyse interface signals test data in CANalyzer for test cases.As the engineer your experience will include:- Experience of model-based control function development with MATLAB/Simulink.- Prior experience of leading model-based software delivery for safety critical systems in accordance with a quality management process and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO26262, ASPICE)- A strong understanding of chassis actuation and control systems, and their influence on vehicle attribute behaviour.- Knowledge of vehicle networks, ECUs, fault monitoring strategies, diagnostic routines and electronics.- Experience with following software applications; Vector CANape & Canalyzer, MatLab & Simulink.If this sounds like you, apply now for immediate consideration, we are looking to get you started ASAP.CMC provide expert engineering solutions on an international capacity for Embedded Software and other Advanced Engineering/Renewable Energy projects.
