Software Developer

Software Developer | Blackburn | .NET | £34K | Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office

We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Software Developer to join a forward-thinking tech team within a dynamic, fast-paced company. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke software systems that power both internal operations and client-facing solutions.

You'll be contributing to the development, maintenance, and support of custom-built applications, working alongside experienced developers and engaging directly with end users to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Working with modern technologies inlcuding .Net 8, React js and Vue js

• Building and improving applications, writing clean, maintainable code that's ready for production

• Contributing to planning sessions, offering input on new features and helping to define technical requirements

• Maintaining existing systems, identifying areas for enhancement, and ensuring long-term stability

• Reducing recurring issues by addressing root causes and helping to streamline processes

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating directly with users and stakeholders to deliver practical solutions

Requirements

• Minumum of 2 years experience in a Software Development role

• Proficient in C#, .Net

• Exposure to modern frontend technologies e.g React js, Vue js, Angular js

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
