Salary £50-80k (experience dependant)
Contract: Full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week

REED Technology are delighted to partner with a fantastic award winning Manufacturing organisation who due to continued growth are seeking to add a Software Developer to their team.

The organisation seeks to recruit a full-stack .Net software developer to fill a crucial role within an expanding and profitable business with exciting plans for growth and expansion over the coming years.

The Software Developer will decide which technologies are best suited for the project's technical aspects, but just as importantly, you will be interacting with management and users to ensure the project's success.

Job summary:

Become more than a software developer – as you progress, you will take on more responsibility and control of the whole software development lifecycle including architecture, testing, deployment as well as coding.

The company actively exploits new and cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance our applications and skillsets – already, we have started our journey to the cloud, hosting new apps on the Azure cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Collaborate with other departments to design, implement, and optimize web-based solutions.
• Create and manage relational databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, and production support of business applications.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best practices and industry standards.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL and JavaScript.
• Experience with ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries, such as jQuery, Angular and Bootstrap.
