This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We’re working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.

The Role:
This role is for a Software Developer —someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

Development of code within an agile environment (scrum).
Working with the team to design, implement and test features for new product development.
Task estimation in accordance with sprint planningThe Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:

Java Core (version 8+)
Spring Boot, Spring Framework - Good knowledge of developing in Spring with Hibernate
Good Knowledge of developing REST within HTTPS
Developing within a microservice architecture
Web Services using RESTful APIs
Distributed systems
Knowledge and use of software design patterns
Agile Development Processes
CI/CD delivery techniques
Source code management (GIT)
Use of Issue tracking systems (Jira)
UML/SysML using Enterprise Architect or similarThe Benefits:
