Software Developer

We're excited about our partnership with a key player in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Distribution space. Together, we're on the lookout for an experienced Software Engineer to come into the dev team and help drive the evolution of their in house systems. Its an incredibly exciting time to join the business as they embark on huge digital transformation which will culminate in a move to a purpose built, high-tech facility in 2025!

Fundamentally, we need a Developer who knows their way around C# and the .NET ecosystem in general. If you worked with Blazor in the past too, that would ideal but no worries if not. Bonus points if you've got a familiarity with SAP (any version really) and the cherry on top would be exposure to Mendix. However, we'd still love to hear from you if you haven't worked with these but would be keen to pick them up.

Aside from the code and if you're confident enough, you’ll get involved in mentoring, help with strategic technical decisions really help drive the transformation forward. This would be an ideal opportunity for a Developer with a few years under their belt looking to make a big step foward in their career. You'll be joining a team eager to learn and you'll be empowered to not only get involved technically but also implement development best practices!

What will you be doing?

Create elegant internal applications in C# & .Net Core
Level up existing legacy systems
Encouraged to implement best practice across the board
Work closely with teams across the business to establish, design, and deploy new features
Mentor and guide junior developers (don't need to line manage just help develop them technically)
Aid the adoption of Azure DevOps and associated best practices

What do you need?

C# .Net & .Net Core
Blazor (or Vue, React or Angular as longer as you're willing to work with Blazor)
Ideally, some front-end skills (don't worry though if you're mainly back-end)
Some exposure to Oracle & SQL
Knowledge of Docker
Ideally, knowledge of SAP (preferably S/4 HANA) BUT as above don't be put off if you haven't any... yet!
