Job DescriptionJob Title: Software Developer Location: Swansea (Hybrid) Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 The CPS Group are working with a long term client based in Swansea searching for multiple developers to join them as they continue their growth in their tech team for 2024. As a Software Developer, you will have a fantastic opportunity to progress your career, develop new skills, and learn new technologies. You will be part of a talented software development team, working in a challenging, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.This position is a hybrid opportunity working 2 days a week out of the clients office in Swansea. The client do not offer sponsorship and present thus only candidates with the right to work and correct working documentation will be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution DevelopmentDevelop solutions based on provided user stories with guidance from team/senior staff. Solutions must:Include appropriate automated testingMeet the acceptance criteria defined in the user storyInclude comprehensive technical documentationTeam CollaborationActively participate in team meetings and collaborate effectively with team members.Technical DocumentationUnderstand and produce technical documentation to a reasonable standard.Continuous LearningIdentify and address gaps in your own knowledge and continuously seek to improve your skills.Required Experience & QualificationsDegree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years of commercial development experienceEssential SkillsProficiency in C#Experience with SQLKnowledge of JavaScriptFamiliarity with Azure DevOps/VSTSProficient in Source Control (GIT/TFS/Other)Understanding of CSS and HTML5Desired SkillsExperience with Vue.jsKnowledge of .NET CoreFamiliarity with Agile methodologiesProficiency in C++Understanding of DevOps practicesExperience with TypeScriptAdditional Skills (Preferred)Familiarity with Non-SQL DBUnderstanding of KanbanExperience with JQueryKnowledge of ASP.NETExperience with CI/CD processesSalary & Benefits Basic Salary of £30,000 - £40,000 Flexi-time Hybrid Working Holiday Buy/Sell Scheme Gym MembershipOpportunities for international travel Interested?
