Software Developer

One of our public sector clients requires a Software Developer to join their customer facing domain on a contract basis.
You will have the relevant skills and experience:
Technical expert using:
REST APIs
Java 11+
Python 3
Spring Boot, Python Flask microservices
Spring security and O Auth2
JavaScript UI frameworks such as React
HTML / CSS skills
OpenShift
DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker
NoSQL databases, Mongo, Postgres
Commercial experience:
Designing, gaining consensus, and implementing technical solutions for software development projects.
Developing within Digital First or GDS quality standards
Using testing tools for unit testing, such as system test automation frameworks.
Cloud monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes like Grafana.
Agile
Infrastructure as code
This is a 12-month contract, predominantly remote. You will however be required to attend the Edinburgh or Glasgow office occasionally for company wide meetings. This role is paying a competitive salary outside ir35.
