The CPS Group are working with a long term client based in Swansea searching for multiple developers to join them as they continue their growth in their tech team for 2024.

As a Software Developer, you will have a fantastic opportunity to progress your career, develop new skills, and learn new technologies. You will be part of a talented software development team, working in a challenging, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

This position is a hybrid opportunity working 2 days a week out of the clients office in Swansea.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development
Develop solutions based on provided user stories with guidance from team/senior staff. Solutions must:
Include appropriate automated testing
Meet the acceptance criteria defined in the user story
Include comprehensive technical documentation

Team Collaboration
Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate effectively with team members.

Technical Documentation
Understand and produce technical documentation to a reasonable standard.

Continuous Learning
Identify and address gaps in your own knowledge and continuously seek to improve your skills.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of commercial development experience

Essential Skills

Proficiency in C#
Experience with SQL
Knowledge of JavaScript
Familiarity with Azure DevOps/VSTS
Proficient in Source Control (GIT/TFS/Other)
Understanding of CSS and HTML5

Desired Skills

Experience with Vue.js
Knowledge of .NET Core
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Proficiency in C++
Understanding of DevOps practices
Experience with TypeScript

Additional Skills (Preferred)

Familiarity with Non-SQL DB
Understanding of Kanban
Experience with JQuery
Knowledge of ASP.NET
Experience with CI/CD processes
