You could be joining a global financial services company as they rebuild the international payments platform, working within the Corporate Payments division. As a Software Developer / Team Lead you'll lead your Squad across architecture, development, delivery and production operations whilst remaining hands-on, writing production code and tackling the most technically complex problems. You'll own system architecture, API design, technical decisions, design reviews and code quality and partner with Product Managers on roadmaps, delivery plans and priorities. Providing technical leadership, mentoring, 1-2-1s and feedback you'll help to develop the engineers within the team, ensuring continuous improvement and setting standards for how the team builds, tests and ships. You'll champion AI and agentic coding tools across the software development lifecycle, driving process improvements and modern techniques. This is ideal for a senior engineer who wants to lead from the front - combining technical ownership, hands-on development and genuine responsibility for the growth of the team. Location / WFH: You can work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the Bracknell office twice a week.
