Their systems monitor partial discharge, circuit breaker condition and substation health, giving early warning of issues that would otherwise go undetected until it's too late. The role We're looking for a mid-level Software/Firmware Engineer to join the development team. What you'll be doing Developing and maintaining C# / .NET software for Windows-embedded systems Working with data flowing from FPGA-based hardware sampling in the gigahertz range Reading from and writing to SQL Server / MySQL databases Interpreting and occasionally working with lower-level C code from embedded microcontrollers Testing and verifying your own code end to end, from spec through to deployment on hardware Collaborating with the wider team on cloud and web-facing components where projects overlap What we're looking for Essential Strong, demonstrable experience with C# and .NET Confidence reading and working with SQL (SQL Server or MySQL) Desirable Exposure to C, particularly around embedded/microcontroller-level code Some Python experience Front-end exposure, ideally React An interest in industrial, hardware-adjacent software If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.
