Software Project Manager

required for a well-known and expanding Digital Transformation consultancy in Glasgow. This is a role for an experienced Software Project Manager who is comfortable working across large-scale software projects and clients and who will work closely with both the software development team and the clients.

The company:
They are a Digital Consultancy based in Glasgow with around 300 staff, and are looking to grow even more. They continue to be very busy and feel lucky to have a diverse and large portfolio of clients – from Finance to Public Sector to FMCG. They continue to win lots of work that comes off the back of several new client wins over the few years, with the additional retained and large-scale client base.

They have a great office in Glasgow and they would ideally have someone on a hybrid approach, two days a week. A lot of their current work is Digital change for a variety of largescale clients and this is where the need comes to hire two new Project Manager’s to the team. The role:
This is a position for an experienced Project Manager in the software and web space. You need to be a genuine self-starter and someone who is comfortable working at pace. You will realistically be from a full, end-to-end lifecycle background, working across Discovery, UAT as well as putting a project live. The projects you will be delivering are a combination of Agile and Waterfall and this could include: retro’s, sprint refinement and running stand-ups.

Key Skills and experience:
** A number of years of experience working as a Software PM, in a software environment
** Full lifecycle software development lifecycle experience: Discovery, UAT and project live
** Strong Agile and Waterfall knowledge
** Ability to run daily stand-ups, do retro’s and sprint refinement
** Experience with tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Trello, Monday.com etc
** Experience across: User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, Project Plans, Wireframes, Technical Specs, Test Plans, Project Reports and Client Action Logs
** Engage with both clients and Account Manager’s to brief, plan, and deliver work
** Strong stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment
