Software Project Manager

Job Description

A globally recognized software company headquartered near Feltham, UK. Their innovative SaaS solutions are at the forefront of the industry, and they pride themselves on delivering top-notch SaaS solutions to their clients around the world. They are looking to hire a SaaS Project Manager who will be responsible for the implementation of their solutions for clients nationally and occasionally assist with projects internationally.

Location:

Hybrid (Head office near Feltham, UK with a minimum of 1 day in the office per week)

Client Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SaaS Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a strong background in SaaS solution implementation. The role requires proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and experience using Jira. A PRINCE2 or Scrum certification or relevant experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage SaaS implementation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, sales, and customer support to ensure project success.
Utilize Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Employ Jira for project tracking, issue management, and reporting.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Ensure adherence to company project management standards and best practices.
Facilitate project meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Manage project risks and develop mitigation plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in SaaS solution implementation.
Proven experience in a software company environment is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Hands-on experience using Jira for project management.
PRINCE2 or Scrum certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Or relevant commercial experience and certifications relating to Scrum and Project management.
