The Opportunity:
Europe’s #1 Integrated Defence Company seeks a talented Software Safety Engineer to lead the development of software safety cases/arguments for next-gen weapons systems.

The Role:
You’ll join a dedicated team of hands-on safety-critical software specialists. Together, ensuring the successful implementation of software safety solutions into actuation systems, launchers, and weapon controllers, spanning technical domains such as embedded, command and control (C2), and mission planning systems.

Required Skills/Experience:
A British citizen or a UK national dual with British citizenship who is willing and able to obtain SC and DV clearance.
Proficiency in delivering safety-related/critical reports and arguments.
Authoring and delivering (software) safety cases and arguments, with a comfort level in collaborating with engineers across various disciplines, including international colleagues.
Familiarity with Modular Safety Cases and Goal Structuring Notation (GSN) application.
Working knowledge of standards like Def Stan 00-055, 00-056, IEC 61508, and RTCA DO-178C.
Competence in utilising and producing FFA/HAZOP/SHARD.

Benefits Package:
Base salary: £65,000 - £80,000 (DoE)
Annual Bonus: Up to 21%
Pension: Pension 14% (6% Employee and 8% Employer)
