About the Role:
Are you driven by a commitment to quality and excellence in software testing? Our client, a pioneering EdTech company, is looking for a skilled Software Test Developer to join their innovative team. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to a state-of-the-art data analytics project on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Advocacy:

Promote quality and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle.
Privacy & Security:

Ensure all tests comprehensively cover privacy, security, and data integrity aspects.
Team Collaboration:

Partner with your project team to define and achieve test requirements.
Leadership in Agile:

Lead effectively in agile scrum and planning sessions.
Exploratory Testing:

Perform detailed exploratory testing, identifying and documenting defects.
Test Infrastructure:

Develop, deploy, and maintain a robust testing infrastructure for the AWS-based data analytics pipeline.
Reusable Code:

Create and sustain reusable test code and libraries.
Performance Testing:

Design, execute, and report on performance benchmarks including stress, scalability, and other non-functional tests.
Continuous Improvement:

Work with other test teams to innovate and enhance testing methodologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with terminal scripting and AWS CLI.
Hands-on experience with AWS services.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and/or Jenkins.
Competence in automated testing using scripting languages like Robot Framework and Python.
Experience with databases, particularly SQL and AWS Athena, is highly desirable.
