Softworks Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Softworks Team Leader to join our growing Landscapes team.  The role requires someone who has a passion for horticulture, is used to outdoor physical work and is keen to coach and mentor team members to achieve the highest quality standards in all project work.  With some exciting projects largely in and around South Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds this year, we would love to hear from you if you are looking to contribute to some of the most prestigious landscaping projects in the area.

Key responsibilities: 

• To manage onsite implementation of soft landscape projects to the highest standards
  


• To support senior team leaders and contracts managers with the smooth running of projects and general team management from site
  


• To ensure the correct plant care is provided to maintain quality standards and procedures


• To work with the senior team leaders and contracts managers to ensure health & safety standards are met and maintained on site


• Coaching, mentoring and motivating the team to enable good progress
  

The ideal candidate will:

• Be driven and positive.


• Be physically fit as the role requires hard, physical work.


• Have good horticultural knowledge.
  


• Maintain high standards of professionalism at all times.


• Be comfortable working outside in all conditions.


• Have a full, clean UK driving licence.

Desirable: 

• Machinery skills would be an asset


• Experience coaching/supporting a team


• Horticultural training

This position is a full-time role: Monday to Friday, 7:30am until 4:30pm
