Solar Maintenance Electrician – Overview
We are recruiting for the largest Solar companies in the UK who are currently seeking a Solar Maintenance Electrician to cover the Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton and Aylesbury region. The company have been operating for 20+ years, they have completed over 50,000 installs across the UK. This role is working within their Maintenance & Repair team, you will be covering your local area and up to a radius of 2 hours from your home post code with all travel time paid on top of your salary.
Day to day you will be operating as a Technical Engineer carrying out remedial and maintenance works on Solar PV installations that the company has installed. This is purely for the electrical side so there will be no working on the roof required. If there is a fault in the system, you will be tasked with attending site to diagnose the fault and make good. Day to day you would be tasked with 2-3 jobs which can vary from fault finding to getting the monitoring system back online, checking and swapping of inverters and more. There will be NO roof work required.
The company pride themselves on their scheduling/coordination, as a Maintenance Electrician you will cover a regional patch carrying out 2-3 jobs per day however these will always be in close proximity or on a route that makes your working day easy to complete. Travel time is also factored into the day.
This is a mobile role, a full UK driving licence is required.
Solar Maintenance Electrician – Requirements
* 3-5 years Electrical Experience
* Experience on Solar PV systems (install or maintenance)
* Full UK Driving Licence

* Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 (OTE £50K+)
