My client is a long-established business, delivering high-quality electrical, EV, and solar PV installations across commercial, industrial, and domestic projects. With a 20-strong energy team and ambitious growth plans, they focus on quality over quantity, from small rooftop systems to large ground mounts, and are now expanding into larger projects while maintaining their reputation for excellence.

This hybrid role focuses on Solar PV maintenance and remedials, with occasional installations. You'll handle scheduled and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and system testing on domestic and small commercial systems. The patch covers Birmingham to Cornwall, with some overnight stays (allowance and accommodation provided). No weekend or call-out work; overtime is paid at time-and-a-half.

You're a qualified Electrician with Solar PV experience, confident at heights, and skilled in diagnosing and fixing faults. You can hit the ground running and have the drive to progress into a technical expert or project management role, fitting well into a social, collaborative team.

The Person

• Qualified Electrician (ECS Level 3 + NVQ) with Solar PV experience
• Comfortable working at heights and with access equipment
• Skilled in fault-finding on domestic and small commercial systems
• Self-driven and ready to hit the ground running
• Team player who enjoys a social, collaborative culture

The Role

• Carry out preventative and reactive Solar PV maintenance
• Perform remedial work like inverter swaps and fault fixes
• Help with installation tasks when needed
• Travel from Birmingham to Cornwall with some overnight stays
• Ensure all work meets safety and design standards
