Position: Solar PV Installer

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established renewable energy contractor who have specialised in the installation of Solar PV systems across the South-East to high-end domestic and commercial clients for over 20 years.

Solar PV Installer Job Overview

Installing both on-roof and in-roof solar panels onto domestic and commercial roofs across West Sussex & parts of surrounding areas such as Kent & Surrey
Working as part of a team and overseeing two junior roofers on-site
Completing installations on a variety of roofs including tiled, slate, concrete tiles and flat roofs
Liaising with domestic and commercial clients on site, including providing clear updates on project progress, answering technical questions and dealing with any issues on site

Solar PV Installer Job Requirements

Experienced in solar panel installations, ideally including both on-roof and in-roof solar panels
Comfortable in supervising sites and overseeing the work of junior engineers
Strong background within the roofing industry and confident in working across a variety of domestic and commercial roof types
Hold a full UK driving licence
Based within a commutable distance of Horsham, West Sussex

Solar PV Installer Salary & Benefits

Basic salary £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Company van provided
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break)
30 days holiday, including bank holidays (increasing with tenure)
