Alps Electrical is one of the region's highest-rated renewable energy installers, specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Electrical Installations.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Roofer to join our expanding renewable energy division.

This is not a general labouring role. We are specifically looking for someone with solid roofing experience who is confident working on domestic roofs and who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will become the lead roofing specialist within our solar installation team, responsible for roof mounting systems, solar panel installation and associated roofing works.

Main Duties

* Installing solar roof mounting systems

* Locating rafters and fitting roof hooks

* Installing aluminium rail systems

* Installing solar panels

* Carrying out minor roof repairs where required

* Installing bird protection systems

* Working alongside our electricians during solar installations

* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety

* Providing excellent customer service on-site

Essential Requirements

* Proven roofing experience

* Experience with slate and tiled roofs

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Strong attention to detail

* Good communication skills

* Reliable and professional attitude

Desirable

* Solar installation experience

* Working at Height certification

* CSCS Card
