Solar Sales Surveyor – Overview

We are working with a rapidly growing Renewable Energy company who are looking for a Solar Sales Surveyor to join the team in the Oxfordshire area, focusing on the sales of Solar & Battery Storage systems to domestic customers. They need an experienced Sales Executive who can travel round to survey properties and finalise the sales.

Since incorporating in 2020, they have accelerated to operating nationally with 60+ employees and two offices. The company generate substantial leads through their own website and marketing but are also the main ‘Install Partners’ for two of the big 6 Energy Companies. Any customer that enquires about solar with these Energy companies immediately gets referred to them to take them through the sales process.

As well as the existing leads, the announcement of the ‘Warm Home Loans’ scheme will make sales even easier, with the government committing to subsidising the interest rates on finance for renewable energy systems – removing the main blocker for a lot of people (the upfront cost).

You will work on a split of 3/4 days on the road and 1/2 days working from home. The internal sales team will take the initial enquiry, call the customer to qualify the lead and arrange an appointment, you will then attend site to survey their property.

You are paid when the customer pays their deposit so you don’t have to wait until install to earn commission.

If you are a qualified Electrician with a technical background, they can increase the salary on this role to reflect your technical ability and would aim to involve you in completing installation audits for the region too.

Solar Sales Surveyor – Requirements

* Experience in a Field Based role

* Experience Selling Solar and Battery Storage systems

* Ability to manage the full 360 sales process

* Salary of £35,000 / up to £45,000 if you hold electrical qualifications (OTE £70,000+)
