Solicitor- Banking & Finance 1PQE

• Manage a varied caseload of banking and finance matters, ensuring all work meets the firm's quality and procedural standards.
• Advise clients and provide regular updates on progress, costs, and key milestones.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of finance documentation to meet client deadlines.
• Achieve and maintain personal billing and time recording targets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and client care.
• Assist in supervising and supporting junior team members.
• Take an active role in business development and marketing initiatives for the team and the wider firm.
• Ensure compliance with SRA, Law Society regulations, and ongoing professional development requirements.

• Ideally 4+ years' PQE in a Banking & Finance team at a medium, national, or international firm.
• Experience working on a broad range of finance transactions such as corporate and leveraged finance, asset-based lending, and real estate/development finance.
• A commercial, client-focused approach with excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Interest or experience in corporate or restructuring matters would be advantageous.
• A team player who is also confident managing work autonomously.
