Job Description - Solicitor - Defendant Personal Injury

Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Casualty Solicitor or Associate Solicitor to join a dynamic law firm in Leeds. You’ll handle a varied caseload, focusing on Employers Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) disputes across sectors such as social care, equine, and construction. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive team, collaborating with experienced professionals, with opportunities to expand your legal knowledge and progress your career.

Candidate Profile/Experience Needed:

2-6 years PQE in personal injury litigation, with experience in EL/PL and professional liability claims
Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
Ability to manage a mixed caseload, including fast, intermediate, and multi-track cases
Experience in clinical negligence, Animals Act 1971, and policy coverage (ideal but not essential)
Proficient in using case management systems (e.g., Partner for Windows) and Microsoft Office 2010
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
A strong team player with the ability to work under supervision
