Sellick Partnership are supporting our long standing client to recruit an experienced Solution Architect to join their IT Architecture team. The team are focussed on delivering the business strategy by designing the IT strategy and enterprise architecture of the business. The Solution Architect will be tasked with designing and delivering solutions that align with Enterprise Architecture standards and lead EA activities.

As the Solution Architect, you will manage and develop a portfolio of solutions including products and projects, systems, infrastructure services and shared application services.

Responsibilities:

• Translation of technical and business requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives.
• Working in collaboration with system and product owners to ensure robust architecture to support business requirements.
• Monitoring the current solution portfolio to identify weakness through ageing technology or not being aligned to business requirements.
• Leading on the design and analysis for the implementation of solutions architecture across group business applications or technologies.
• Work closely with the Enterprise Architect to develop a roadmap from current state of the enterprise solution portfolio to future state.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in minimum 2 solution development disciplines such as network management, database management, technical or infrastructure architecture.
• Proven experience of developing architecture roadmaps, strategies and blueprints.
• Experience of driving and creating technical solutions to delivery.
• Exposure to diverse technologies and platforms, with a good understanding of emerging technology trends.
• Understanding of system and product management, development and agile methodologies.
