Solution Architect / Delivery Lead - Contract - Outside IR35

I am currently looking for a strong Solution Architect / Delivery Lead. My client is looking to get someone started to lead the architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of their Data Product Catalogue solution.

As a Solution Architect / Delivery Lead, you will have extensive enterprise solution architecture experience ideally within banking or financial services and proven project management capabilities across complex data engineering programmes. You will be responsible for producing high-level designs, steering solutions through governance frameworks, and managing delivery across the full lifecycle.

Location: Milton Keynes - 3 days per week hybrid

Contract Length: 6-12 Months

Day Rate: £650 per day

IR35 Status: Outside of IR35

Required experience will include:

The ability to produce High-Level Design (HLD) and define target architectures for application hosting, Graph database connectivity (PostgreSQL, Neo4j), and platform integrations.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, Terraform/IaC, and API-based integration patterns.
Hands-on familiarity with modern tech stacks including Next.js and Python
Experience presenting to and securing approval from Design Authority and governance boards.
The ability to assess existing codebases and architectures to define refactoring approaches that replace local components with enterprise services.
Knowledge of data mesh/data product concepts, metadata management, and lineage service integrations.
Proven delivery/project management experience on enterprise data or platform engineering programmes using Agile/hybrid delivery methods.
Strong stakeholder management across vendor and client technology teams.
