We're looking for a Solution Engineer to join a growing international business, supporting customers across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer engagement, helping deliver innovative solutions and supporting business growth. The Role As a Solution Engineer, you'll act as the technical bridge between customers and the sales team, helping to understand customer requirements, demonstrate solutions, and provide expert technical guidance throughout the sales process. Responsibilities Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations and customer briefings. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales cycle. Support customer onboarding and product training activities. Visit customer sites to investigate technical issues and provide recommendations. Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Represent the business at exhibitions, trade shows and industry events. About You We are interested in speaking with both experienced professionals and ambitious early-career engineers. You may currently be working as a: Solution Engineer Pre-Sales Engineer Sales Engineer Technical Consultant Solutions Consultant Applications Engineer Alternatively, we would also welcome applications from graduates or junior engineers with qualifications in: Electronic Engineering Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering Mechatronics Other related engineering disciplines We believe a strong technical foundation is key to success in this role. While previous commercial, sales or customer-facing experience would be advantageous, these skills can be developed through training, mentoring and hands-on experience. To be successful, you'll ideally have: Strong technical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. A passion for learning and solving customer problems. The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive and customer-focused approach. Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally. Desirable Experience Experience within a Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales or Technical Sales environment.
