About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will lead the design and development of complex supply chain solutions, supporting new business opportunities from initial concept through to implementation. Working closely with Business Development, Operations, Procurement, and Project teams, you will create innovative, data-driven solutions that meet customer requirements while delivering commercial value and operational excellence. 

How You Will Contribute

• Lead the design of end-to-end supply chain solutions, from network optimisation through to warehouse processes, workstations, and operational layouts.
• Develop innovative concepts and engineering solutions for customer proposals, including facility layouts, process flows, KPIs, and operational models. 
• Partner closely with Business Development, Account Management, Operations, and Launch teams throughout the solution development lifecycle. 
• Present technical solutions and business cases to customers through proposals, presentations, workshops, and conference calls. 
• Support the transition of awarded projects into detailed operational designs and successful implementation plans. 
• Lead or support engineering activities during new business launches, including process validation, infrastructure setup, contractor management, and operational readiness. 
• Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities and provide practical, measurable solutions. 
• Act as a subject matter expert for engineering methodologies, process design, continuous improvement, and operational best practices. 
• Support the development and training of site-based engineering teams while embedding regional standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Bring

• Degree qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent practical experience. 
• Experience designing and implementing logistics, warehousing, fulfilment, or supply chain solutions within a complex operational environment
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, with Lean and Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into practical solutions. 
• Proficiency with engineering and business tools including Excel, AutoCAD, Visio (or similar), and project management software
