About MAXIS GBN



MAXIS GBN was co-founded in 1998 by MetLife and AXA, two of the largest and most trusted insurance companies in the world. In 2016, MAXIS GBN became a joint venture and established itself in London with offices at Monument where we employ an international team of over 90 staff, with another 80 based in eight countries around the world.


 


At MAXIS GBN, we work with multinational companies to help them deliver employee benefits (EB) to their staff around the world. We are a market leader in the global EB space, offering global pooled and captive solutions as well as comprehensive wellness programmes.


 


We do this through working with a network of local insurance companies (members) in more than 100 markets across the globe. More than 60% of our member insurers are owned by MetLife or AXA, the other 40% are independent local insurers – all are experts in their markets and help us to find the right solutions for the local offices of multinationals and their employees based there.


 


Our London headquarters houses support services from global marketing to finance to client reporting and underwriting while working with colleagues based in offices in locations across Europe, the USA and Asia.


 


Summary of Responsibilities:



The Solutions Team at MAXIS GBN oversees the evolution and development of MAXIS GBN’s offering including insurance solutions and global programmes. The goal of the team is to ensure that the MAXIS GBN’s solutions continue to address the needs of our multinational clients and the global EB market challenges.  


We are seeking a creative and dynamic individual to join the team as a Solutions Manager. As a key member of the team you will collaborate with the other member of the Solutions Team and other MAXIS teams to identify, design and implement innovative solutions. Core to our success, and to that of the candidate, will be the ability to innovate, think broadly, see/use information differently, and interface with sophisticated Captive reinsurers and multinational clients.



Principal Responsibilities:



  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for development and innovation of the solutions MAXIS offers.

  2. Analyse the needs of our multinational clients and the market challenges and design solutions using creative and analytical approaches.

  3. Work closely with the Chief Solutions Officer, other members if the Solutions Team, other teams at MAXIS, the MAXIS Members, our multinational clients and the global brokers when developing and implementing the new solutions.

  4. Utilise data analysis and analytics to project the impact of the proposed new solution and after implementation to evaluate the success of the new solution.

  5. Lead or participate in the Solutions Team’s projects ensuring timely delivery of the project while maintaining high standards of quality and effectiveness.

  6. Present ideas, updates and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.

  7. Staying updated on emerging trends, technologies, and market dynamics, conducting research to inform decision-making and potential solution development.



Required Competencies:



  • Degree level education (or equivalent) in Engineering, Actuarial studies, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.

  • Experience in Employee Benefits (Life, Accident, Disability and Medical) and knowledge of International Employee Benefits.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically.

  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of accountability and prompt reply.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, managing multiple stakeholders, and ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Excellent computer skills - Excel and Monday.com essential; Tableau and Salesforce.com desired.



Languages: Fluent English essential
