Description

• Manage indirect procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives.
• This is a 5 day on site position.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
• Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business goals.
• Some travel will be required for this position.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure seamless operations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve the best value for the organisation.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards in procurement processes.

Profile

A successful Indirect Sourcing Manager should have:

• Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Have previous experience managing packaging, repair materials, consumables, services, transport and warehousing categories is preferred.
• A strong understanding of indirect sourcing strategies and practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• The ability to analyse data and market trends to inform decision-making.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for procurement and supply chain management.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving cost efficiencies.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in procurement.
