Sourcing Strategy Manager

I'm currently supporting a Consultancy in their search for a Sourcing Strategy Manager (Technology) to support with their clients in leveraging their supply chains to drive high-value technology transformation, aligned with their wider business transformation objectives.

Job Title: Sourcing Strategy Manager (Technology)
Salary: 65-77,000 Depending On Experience & Location
Start Date: Open to Notice Periods
Location: Ideally London, Birmingham, or Manchester + others

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in understanding how technology vendors, systems integrators, and service partners can support and enable the capabilities essential for successful transformation initiatives.
• Guide clients in formulating and executing sourcing strategies, along with aligned supplier strategies, to help achieve broader technology and business goals.
• Showcase a strong understanding of a wide range of Technology Transformation services-such as IT operating model design and cost optimization-and the complex interdependencies involved in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs.

Requirements:

• You will have experience supporting the development and execution of sourcing strategies and transactions across one or more technology domains, such as private and public hosting services, connectivity, systems integration, digital workplace, or ERP transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders within IT delivery and sourcing functions.
• Experience in defining and managing projects or significant workstreams related to sourcing processes, including both market tenders and single-source approaches.
