SOUS CHEF

Our client is looking for a talented Head Chef or Sous Chef to join their award-winning, family-owned and operated freehold pub with rooms (offering no breakfast service) nestled in the heart of West Sussex.

This is a wonderful opportunity to share responsibility and significantly contribute to their thriving catering operations. You'll likely bring at least five years of experience in a similar role and will work closely with their current Head Chef and owner, covering days off and holidays. They offer flexible rotas, with some weekends off too. Their fantastically equipped kitchen awaits the right candidate, and they offer a top salary package of £40,000 for a 40-hour week.

A 4-day working week may also be available if desired. Your typical days off will be Sunday nights, Mondays, and Tuesdays, and some straight shifts are a possibility as well. If you have a genuine passion for creating high-quality modern British pub-style food using fresh, local ingredients and possess a keen eye for detail both in the kitchen and on the plate, they'd love to hear from you.
