Sous Chef

Following our renovation works and huge growth since, The Cardan Bar and Grill is looking to hire a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic team! We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our valued customers. If you have a passion for creating delicious dishes and working in a fast-paced environment, this role might be the perfect fit for you.

As Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Your creativity and attention to detail will be key in ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen is of the highest quality and meets our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Head Chef in developing and executing menu options that are innovative and on-trend.

2. Oversee food preparation and cooking activities to ensure that dishes are prepared according to recipes and quality standards.

3. Supervise kitchen staff and provide mentorship and guidance when needed.

4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.

5. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a similar fast paced dining environment.

2. Strong culinary skills and a passion for food and creativity.

3. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

4. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

5. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
