Sous Chef – Fresh Food Kitchen

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum

Location: Skipton

We are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team within a successful golf club operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys fresh food cooking, daytime-focused hours, and working within a close-knit team environment.

The role offers predominantly daytime shifts with weekend work required, making it ideal for chefs seeking a better balance while still working within a busy hospitality setting.

The Role

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen


• Preparing and delivering fresh food to a high standard


• Assisting with stock control and ordering


• Helping maintain cleanliness and food safety standards


• Supporting functions and hospitality events when required


• Supervising the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to progress


• Fresh food kitchen experience essential


• Reliable, organised, and able to work well within a small team


• Banqueting or event catering experience would be advantageous


• A driver would be ideal due to location


• Flexibility to work weekends is essential
