Sous Chef

Are you a Sous Chef looking to work regular hours during the day and no evenings? Do you have a passion for producing great food with repeat customers? If so our client in Thetford are now looking for a Sous Chef to join their team. The Sous Chef will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the kitchen contributing to the preparation and presentation of quality dishes. If you are looking for a good work life balance then this Sous Chef role is for you.

As the Sous Chef you will be:

* Working closely with the Head Chef to deliver excellent food

* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes

* Ensuring consistency, quality and timely preparation of meals

* Direct and Guide the kitchen Staff in proper cooking techniques

* Maintain a clean and organised workspace adhering to hygiene standards and Health regulations.

As the Sous Chef you will have:

* Proven experience in a relevant culinary role

* Strong understanding of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment and food safety practices

* Ability to work well under pressure and within a team

* Physically fit to stand for long periods in service
