Experienced Sous Chef required to join and support with leading a large kitchen team -
The Crown and Cushion, Blackwater, near Camberley, Surrey, GU17 9UA
Please note: There is NO accommodation with this position
Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum package (this is a basic salary + tronc tips) plus, there is also a Bonus scheme +£2,000
Our Chef Managers are committed and passionate about their teams and about the food that they serve. We are recruiting for a Sous Chef that has previous experience of working in a high-volume kitchen

delivering dishes to company time standards and specification - and managing teams of up 8 staff whilst on service (Chefs and Kitchen Porters)
A key factor of your success will be the ability to remain calm under pressure, and have the qualities to lead and motivate the team to consistently produce great food
Responsibilities include..
You will have a solid commitment to mentoring and developing teams, and a keen eye for detail
You will assist the Head Chef in ensuring the team provide exceptional food quality and presentation
What we expect
You will strive to ensure the kitchen is run professionally, profitably, efficiently and compliantly
Take an active role in cost reduction, control of resources and portion control
Work in line with Barons Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures

effectively contributing to maintaining a safe working environment
Effectively communicating with the Kitchen and FOH teams
Assisting with the mentoring and training of Chefs and Kitchen Porters
