Cambridge (hybrid)

£27,000-£30,000 per annum

We are working with a Cambridge based company who are currently seeking a proactive, driven, and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their small accounts team. This hybrid role will involve a variety of accounting responsibilities, alongside some administration tasks, offering a unique opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset, confident Excel skills, and fluency in both Spanish and English.

• Manage banking, cash control, and bank account reconciliation.
• Conduct statement reconciliations.
• Maintain Sage Accounting records and update client records with payment and settlement details.
• Assist in managing credit control, producing aged debt reports, liaising with customers, and following up with required actions.
• Maintain supplier accounts and manage invoice settlement.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and assistance to the Finance team and CEO.
• Assist with ad-hoc administration tasks.

• Fluent in Spanish and English to a working proficiency.
• Good Excel skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in a finance related role.
• Strong sense of integrity and excellent work ethic.
• Methodical and systematic mindset.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills that promote prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Desire to develop a long-term career.
• Ability to commute to our Cambridge-based office.
