Spares Sales Co-ordinator

We are currently recruiting an organised and proactive Spares Sales Coordinator to join an established engineering business based near Diss.

This is a varied, customer-facing role, combining sales administration, customer service and engineering support. You will be responsible for managing spare parts enquiries, preparing quotations and coordinating orders, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal engineering, operations and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing customer enquiries and developing strong customer relationships.

* Preparing quotations, following up on enquiries and processing sales orders.

* Liaising with suppliers to source suitable components at competitive prices.

* Coordinating spare parts orders from initial enquiry through to dispatch.

* Preparing recommended critical spares lists for customer projects.

* Identifying opportunities to develop and increase spare parts sales.

* Maintaining accurate customer and order records using the company's MRP system.

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience in a sales coordination, spares, sales administration or engineering support role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Experience using an MRP system would be advantageous, particularly Progress Plus.

* A proactive approach, good attention to detail and the confidence to liaise with customers and suppliers.
