Job Title: Special Education Needs Tutor

Location: West Drayton

Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-time only)

Salary: £31,000 - £34.500 per annum (D.O.E)

We're looking for a passionate and dependable tutor who can work well with young adults with special needs. Ideally, you'll have experience or a strong interest in supporting learners with special educational needs and be able to adapt your teaching style to suit each student. The role involves teaching small groups of mixed-ability learners."

The role:

• Plan and teach lessons that meet national standards, while adapting to each student's needs to support their learning and overall growth.
• Track student progress, keep their learning plans up to date, and take part in reviews to help maintain quality.
• Work with staff, parents, and carers to manage behaviour, keep students safe, and provide consistent support

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with young adults 16+ with special education needs.
• Desirably a level 2 teaching or tutoring qualification.
• Be patient, adaptable and passionate about young adult's development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
