The Specialist Anesthesia will be responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures within the hospital. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans according to patients’ needs.
• Administer anesthesia safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
• Manage perioperative care, including post-operative pain control and recovery monitoring.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
• Respond promptly to any anesthesia-related emergencies or complications.
• Stay up to date with the latest anesthesia techniques, guidelines, and best practices.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.

• Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesia and valid licensing to practice in the UAE.
• Experience working as a Specialist in Anesthesia within a hospital setting, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to perform pre-operative assessments and manage anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
