• Assist students with mobility and the use of sensory aids, ensuring their safety and comfort in the classroom.


• Monitor student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to assessments and reviews of student development.


• Help create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages independence and confidence in students with sensory impairments.


• Collaborate with external professionals, such as occupational therapists and specialist teachers, to ensure a coordinated approach to support.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children with sensory impairments is highly desirable.


• A strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with sensory needs and the strategies to support them.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external specialists.


• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting inclusive education.


• A clear DBS check.


• Legal right to work in the UK.
