The Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. You'll play a central role in our joined-up approach to SEND, working directly with pupils who present with a range of needs including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and complex communication difficulties.
You'll deliver clinically informed interventions, work closely with educational and residential colleagues, and help shape therapeutic living and learning environments that give our young people the best possible chance to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out clinical assessments and develop individualised therapy programmes for pupils Deliver targeted speech, language, and communication interventions — both 1:1 and in groups Collaborate with the wider MDT, embedding therapeutic approaches across the school Support and train staff teams to ensure clinically informed environments and experiences Contribute to annual reviews, EHC plan processes, and MDT meetings Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HCPC and RCSLT standardsAbout You
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with current HCPC registration Proven experience delivering therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs Experience supporting teams around a child to ensure consistent, clinically informed practice Confident communicator and effective trainer, able to guide and influence colleagues Highly organised, proactive, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young peopleWhat We Offer
