Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Grade: Specialty Doctor
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Working Hours: 16 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application


We are seeking a committed Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to work part-time for our NHS client based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.


What will your responsibilities be?


This role involves working within a CAMHS outpatient setting, supporting children and adolescents with mental health and neurodevelopmental difficulties. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality community-based care. The postholder will also be expected to participate in clinical meetings and maintain documentation in line with NHS standards.


Qualifications and Experience:


• GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
• Inclusion on the Specialist Register (CCT)
• Experience in CAMHS, outpatient services, and managing neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong commitment to patient-centred care
