Area to be covered: National - South East focus (approx. 70%)

Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 Neg. + £20,000 uncapped bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager - Acoustic Ceiling & Wall Solutions will involve:

• Field sales role selling a high end range of manufactured interior acoustic products for wall and ceiling applications
• Dedicated field sales professional for the acoustic division nationally, scope to grow a team under you in the future
• Products include: wall coverings, suspended ceiling systems and decorative panel solutions
• Influencing and winning specifications with architects, interior designers and main contractors as well as end users such as schools and office building owners
• Breaking specifications with D&B contractors
• Typically working on order values from £50,000-£100,000 but can be up to £400,000
• Majority of your time will be generating new business, although there will be a small project bank which has been managed by our clients’ other field sales team
• Growing existing acoustic turnover form £1m to £1.5m
• Conducting CPD seminars and attending trade shows when required

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Acoustic Ceiling & Wall Solutions with:

• Field sales experience winning specifications with architects, interior designers or main contractors as well as managing relationships/ breaking specifications with D&B contractors
• Acoustic or fit-out product sales backgrounds would be ideal but not essential, all interior building product backgrounds will be considered
• Tactile sales background rather that technical, sold something aesthetically pleasing
• Team player
• Contacts within the A&D specification market, main contractors and D&B contractors within the London and surrounding area advantageous
• New business hunter mentality
• Strong commercial and presentation skills
