Are you a Specification Technologist from a Food or similar background looking for a varied and unique 6 month Fixed Term Contract within a global leading, household name within the food industry offering autonomy to work on specialist projects and opportunities for progression to permanent roles?

This company are a global leader within food- specifically confectionary- and have a presence across multiple continents. They have a broad portfolio of brands within the group and over 6000 employees worldwide and due to industry wide regulation changes are looking for a new Specification Technologist to join their team.

This varied role will see you working on an initial 6 month FTC, as you update specifications for a broad range of confectionary packaging to come in line with new regulations. You will work within a tight-knit team of 8 as you liaise closely with other departments and key stakeholders, to assist with on time project delivery and ensure compliance and quality standards are adhered to.

This autonomous role would suit a Specification Technologist from a Food or similar background looking for an exciting 6 month fixed term contract within a global leading brand offering flexible, remote working.

The Role:

• Manage and update product specifications for packaging, ingredients, allergens, and nutrition
• Ensure compliance with food legislation and retailer requirements
• Liaise with NPD, Quality, and Packaging teams on projects and launches
• Remote role with flexible hours (typically 8?am-4?pm)
• 6 months FTC with potential to move to permanent roles
