We are looking for a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school in Southwark, supporting students with communication difficulties.

Position: Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Southwark, London

School Information:
The school provides comprehensive support for students with communication needs, working closely with therapists and specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 with students with speech and language difficulties.


• Implement speech and language exercises in collaboration with external therapists.


• Support teachers in adapting lesson materials for students’ communication needs.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties.


• Knowledge of communication strategies and speech development.


• DBS check required.
