Sports Coach - Urgent Hire

• Job Type: Full-time (Term Time)
• Location: Near Birmingham City Centre
• Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Start Date: Immediate until the end of the academic year

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join a vibrant primary school located near Birmingham city centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for running a class of 27-30 students, instilling a love for physical education and promoting healthy lifestyles.

• Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons to a class of 27-30 primary school students.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that covers a wide range of sports and physical activities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and encouragement to promote improvement.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical education classes and sports activities.
• Organise and coordinate sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical education with other aspects of the students’ learning.
• Maintain sports equipment and manage resources effectively to ensure a productive learning environment.

• A passion for sports and physical education.
• Experience in coaching or teaching sports to children.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a sports setting.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
