A primary school in Denton Burn is looking for a proactive 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with challenging behaviour. This role would suit graduates who enjoy building positive relationships and helping children succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 1.
Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour development.
Encouraging participation in classroom activities.
Creating a positive and consistent daily routine.
Promoting confidence and engagement.
Collaborating with teachers and support staff.
Who We're Looking For

Sports, Coaching or Youth Work graduates.
Positive role models with strong communication skills.
Individuals who remain calm under pressure.
Experience supporting children or young people is advantageous.
A willingness to learn and adapt.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
