The Role – Sports TA

A specialist SEN school in Hackney is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sports TA to support pupils across KS2–KS4. You will use physical activity, sports sessions, and movement-based interventions to engage students with Autism, SEMH, or learning difficulties. Your role will include leading and supporting sports-based activities, providing 1:1 and small group mentoring, encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing and supporting the class teacher in lessons when not delivering sports sessions. This is an ideal role for someone with a coaching background, sports mentoring experience, or a TA who loves using physical activity to engage young people.
