Job Description:

Know How Resourcing are proud to represent our manufacturing client based in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Spray Painter on a permanent basis.

As a Painter it is your responsibility to ensure our products are painted to the highest standard within our quality framework to ensure the customers’ requirements are met on time and in full.

The role

* You will mask, prepare, seal and paint transformers and various metal products within our paint spray booths wearing the appropriate PPE

* You will fit the warranty tags

* Ensure all products are painted to the correct specification

* Managing your own time to ensure tasks are completed to plan

* Identify and work with others to resolve inadequate or unclear manufacturing information.

* Ensure quality standards and factory housekeeping is of the highest standard.

* Ensure all required documentation is completed correctly and on time

About You

* Demonstrable experience of prepping/spaying/painting metal products in a manufacturing environment is essential.

* Experience of painting transformers would be a distinct advantage

* Experience of using a pressure pot and compressor system desirable.

* Experience of working collaboratively in a production environment with other operations personnel is essential

* FLT licence desirable

* Overhead Crane licence desirable
