You will work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Your role involves driving best practices in data science, ensuring data quality, and mentoring junior scientists.\n\nJob Description:\n\nEssential Responsibilities: \n\n * Lead the development and implementation of advanced data science models.\n * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements.\n * Drive best practices in data science.\n * Ensure data quality and integrity in all processes.\n * Mentor and guide junior data scientists.\n * Stay updated with the latest trends in data science.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor\u2019s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\n\n\nAdditional Responsibilities \u0026 Preferred Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s/Master\u2019s degree/PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.\n\n * 3+ years of experience in advanced analytics or data science roles\n\n * Deep expertise in experimentation, including A/B testing design, execution, analysis, and causal inference to measure true product/feature/strategy impacts\n\n * Strong background in time-series analysis and forecasting to support growth planning and performance monitoring.\n\n * Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience using large-scale analytics platforms (e.g., BigQuery) and analytics tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebooks) to analyze large, multi-dimensional datasets.\n\n * Proven ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives for senior stakeholders\n\n * Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering data-driven recommendations that influence product and business strategy\n\n * Experience building dashboards and automated reporting solutions using visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) to communicate experimentation results and ongoing performance metrics\n\n * Industry experience in payments, eCommerce, or financial services is a strong plus\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences\n\n\n\n\nSubsidiary:\n\nPayPal\n\nTravel Percent:\n\n0\n\nPayPal does not charge candidates any fees for courses, applications, resume reviews, interviews, background checks, or onboarding.
